Saptawara represents the day of birth according to the Javanese calendar which consists of 7 days, namely AHAD, SENEN, SLASA, REBO, KEMIS, JUMUAH, and SETU.
Meanwhile, Pancawara is the cycle of days in 1 week according to Javanese calculations, also known as PASARAN, consisting of KLIWON, PON, WAGE, PAHING, and LEGI.
Each person has their own Saptawara and Pancawara such as Ahad (Sunday) Kliwon, Monday Pahing, and so on. Each date has a specific value that determines a person’s character, fortune cycle, and matchmaking.
