The peace symbol is a representation or object that symbolizes peace. Throughout history, several symbols have been used as symbols of peace, the most famous being the dove, olive branch, and the nuclear disarmament symbol (☮).

TRIDATU PHILOSOPHY

Tri Datu or Tridatu, Tridhatu is a composition of threads with deep philosophical value believed by Hindus to possess power. Tri means three and Datu means element or color.

The three colors of Tri Datu thread also symbolize the Purity of God in His manifestation as Tri Murti:

1. Dewa Brahma (creator), color Red,
2. Dewa Vishnu (preserver), color White, and
3. Dewa Ishwara/Shiva (destroyer), color Black.

Moreover, the Tri Datu thread is a symbol of Tri Kona, namely:
1. Birth,
2. Life, and
3. Death.

After birth and now living, and eventually death. The use of Tri Datu thread is expected to always remember the greatness of God as the supreme creator, preserver, and destroyer.
